Thorough understanding of International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes Code requirements including cargo group classification, moisture content testing, transportable moisture limits (TML), and cargo liquefaction risks.
Experience in hold cleaning standards for grain loading, hatch cover testing, ventilation management, and cargo condition monitoring during ocean passages.
Officers with demonstrated experience in heavy weather routing, parametric rolling awareness, structural stress monitoring, and cargo shift prevention in adverse sea conditions.
